A community of officials upholding values and ideology

The Samastha Kerala Muslim Employees’ Association was formed to create a community of officials who had a deep commitment to morality and moral values. The Association is the platform of officials who uphold the value system and ideology.

At least a few among the community are least bothered about Islamic culture, dress, and symbols after they get a degree and a job. Those who come to know about Islam through the writings of the ‘reformists’ misunderstand the real religion and start to question the basics of Islam. The ‘reformists’ and the atheists mostly target the educated and employed class. The SEA attempts to resist the propaganda of the atheists in the name of inculcating scientific spirit among the public.

The Association exhorts its members that their working hours are from 10 am to 5 pm, but they have larger responsibilities. They should understand that there is life under the heap of files. No ordinary person will visit a government office without a purpose and the reaction of some officials is reminiscent of feudal lords. The Association aims for a corruption-free culture in government offices.

SEA spreads the message of Islam among government employees, staff of public sector enterprises, teachers, doctors, advocates and IT professionals. The prototype of the organisation existed in Kannur, Kasaragod, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts, but it became inactive later. SEA was formed at the platinum jubilee of Samastha and it is led by officials who are working in universities, medical and engineering colleges and other institutions.
